Cloud28 + is an established community European companies can use to publish their IT-related services. Customers use Cloud 28+ to compare the most suitable cloud solutions for their organisation. Among the members of the platform created by HPE are many software vendors and service providers.
Eshgro became, as cloud service broker and strategic partner of HPE since September 2015, one of the first members of Cloud28 +. The European market place is an initiative of the European Commission and is supported by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). The network started in September 2015 and now offers more than 815 cloud solutions.
The most innovative updates of the platform were presented at the 2016 Cloud28+ partner event. The main novelty is the addition of a fully interactive service catalog, focusing on suppliers and EU buyers. HPE enables ISVs and cloud providers to offer and sell services directly through the platform. Users are enabled to find an appropriate solution based on their specific needs and (compliance) requirements.
Uniquely, this co-creation of cloud and software vendors takes place without the intervention of HPE. HPE shows demonstrates clearly its value for cloud partners: the creation a living cloud ecosystem where supply and demand meet. At present, the platform seems to be mainly used for hosting and infrastructure services, but it’s a matter of time before businesses outside of the IT world find their way to Cloud28 +.
Co Eshgro creation and Exact featured on stage
During the event, a small group of business partners were asked to present their case studies on stage. Anton Loeffen (CEO at Eshgro) and Jarno van Hurne (Global Product Marketing Director at Exact) demonstrated the successful cooperation for Exact Privat Cloud, an Eshgro white labeled cloud solution. Eshgro and Exact, both members of Cloud28+, join forces to offer a flexible and secure private cloud solution worldwide to SMEs. This Private Cloud solution is powered by the HPE VPC platform, Eshgro Bits Fabric cloud services and Exact business software. The challenges of Exact and how the co-creation has led Eshgro an innovative solution is a perfect example of the co-creation a community as Cloud28 + can accomplish.
The platform Cloud28 + showed to be very successful in bringing organisations together and cloud solutions. HPE announced more opportunities and co-created benefits for cloud partners in the nearby future.
